Lansing Christian School will accept registration throughout the year. Typically we begin the registration process for the following school year in February. New families must complete the application process to register.
Please note, we expect that some of the grades will be full and enrollment will be "capped." To be sure that your child is able to enroll at Lansing Christian, it is in your best interest to enroll early. All registration fees and prepayments (deposits) are nonrefundable. The tuition prepayment will be applied to the 10/11 tuition bill. Tuition will be calculated through the end of the current quarter for early withdrawal once school has begun.

Scholarships
- Annual Scholarships: Tuition Scholarships are available for families who are committed to Christian education and are in need of financial assistance to attend or continue at Lansing Christian. Please apply for the Annual Tuition Scholarships with the FACTS Grant and Aid Application online at www.factstuitionaid.com or complete the paper copy no later than April 23, 2010. Paper copies of the FACTS Grant and Aid Application are available in the Main Office. All new students/families applying for scholarships need to have applied, been accepted and registered at LCS before being considered for a scholarship. If a family desires to be considered for an annual scholarship but does not wish to register, they may pay a $35 fee per family to be considered. This fee is non-refundable and does not apply toward registration or tuition.
In addition to completing the FACTS Grant and Aid Application, we are asking that those interested in a Tuition Scholarship complete the Scholarship Application Addendum. This is a simple one page form that will provide space to present supporting information to your request for assistance. The FACTS Grant and Aid Application does not currently include the supporting information. The scholarship committee is offering the opportunity for families to further describe their situation beyond what the FACTS results indicates.
The Annual Tuition Scholarship program is a need based scholarship program. The FACTS Company helps collate and secure the financial information; however, the final decision making process remains with the LCS Tuition Assistance Scholarship Committee..
Approximately 30% of eligible families received scholarships for the 2009-2010 school year. For this same school year, 170 students received scholarships and the average scholarship per student was $1,600. The average scholarship per student is between 10%-25% of tuition. Annual scholarships are never more than 50% of tuition. - Bravo and Cultivation of Excellence Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded annually based on student qualities and abilities plus financial need. Students must apply for these scholarships. Applications can be picked up in the main office or online. For the elementary BRAVO scholarship information and application, click here. For the secondary Cultivation of Excellence scholarship information and application, click here. LCS awarded over 40 scholarships for the 2009-10 school year. Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (T.R.I.P.)
T.R.I.P. is a volunteer run program in which families purchase certificates through Lansing Christian School to shop at grocery stores, gas stations, clothing vendors, and restaurants and more! The stores sell the gift certificates to the school at a discount. The school then sells the certificates at face value and the participating family receives a credit for tuition from each certificate. For more information visit our Fundraisers page.
Lugnuts Games
LCS students have the opportunity to work Lansing Lugnuts games. All monies earned will be paid to LCS and LCS will distribute those earnings to student accounts according to time worked. The monies are to be used for activities within LCS (class trips, tuition or other school-related costs and fees). ANY family member can work the Lugnut games as long as they meet the minimum age requirements. The more workers each family has the more money they earn. To learn more about how you can take advantage of this opportunity visit our Fundraisers page.
MSU Concessions
LCS families can earn money by running a concession stand at MSU Football and Men's Basketball Games. This is a great opportunity for LCS to be out in the community and also gives parents and students a chance to earn money for class trips, tuition and LCS sponsored mission trips. While working at these games is open to any LCS family, preference will be given to high school families to work. Any students working at the games need to be in high school. For more details please visit our Fundraisers page.
