Lansing Christian School students in grades 9-11 put their faith into practice last week during the annual LCS Service Week.
Students went by the bus load to Potter Park Zoo to help with spring cleaning and landscaping. Other students offered their services at Lansing City Rescue Mission, Giving Tree, Ingham Land Bank, Hidden Treasures, Paint-a-Place, Chosen Vision and other locations in the Lansing area.
Service Week gives LCS students an opportunity to apply what they learn in the classroom by meeting the needs of others. This tradition of service is part of Lansing Christian’s Bible curriculum for 9-11th grade students.
