On Tuesday, our dedicated and energized art teacher, Katie Emery, spoke in front of the student body about her own past struggles and obstacles. She shared about herself in order to help encourage students to be vulnerable with each other and be empathetic with one another. Mrs. Emery explained that we need to understand that everyone is going through their own storms, and we all need each other to get through them. #IBelongToJesusChrist www.lansingchristianschool.org

Thank you to Jen Wagoner who brought her therapy dog Zoey to our first grade classes. When children are given opportunities to read to therapy dogs it builds excitement about reading. #readers #therapydog #LCS_HaveItAll www.lansingchristianschool.org

Watch your step! Small metal balls were whizzing down the middle school hallway today. #LCS_STEM #LCSgram
