As part of their social studies unit on immigration, the 6th grade class, led by Ms. Zuke, is excited to announce we will be hosting a traveling exhibit called Refuge Lansing during the week of February 24. Mrs. Emery’s high school art class will also be contributing to the exhibit by creating painted portraits of refugee students as part of our cooperation with Sheridan Rd. School.
On February 29 the 6th grade class invites you to see the Refuge Lansing Exhibit at Lansing Christian School from 2:30-4pm, including a 30 minute presentation at 3pm to learn more about the Refugee Development Center. This is a great opportunity to celebrate and get to know our neighbors here in Lansing, Michigan.
