EQUIPPING FOR PURPOSE
Providing an authentic and integral Christian education is about helping each student understand that they have a unique role to play in God’s story. This approach to education shifts the focus away from “what” students need to know, to “who” students are called to be.
At Lansing Christian School, our goal is for students to develop a passion for learning through rich and diverse educational experiences that give them the opportunity to understand how their own gifts and abilities can be used to engage the world for Jesus Christ. In our Christ-centered learning environment students are invited to ask tough questions for the purpose of thinking deeply and growing in understanding of people and perspectives.
Academic excellence is pursued at all grade levels by developing the life-long skills of critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, thinking for innovation, empathy and persistence. This is supported by a PreK-12 curriculum that includes integrated technology, coding classes, the creative arts, academic support services, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
