“This is my Father’s World!”
God created such a marvelous world, and we’re ready to explore it during this year’s annual Fund Fun! The 2023 Explore the World Fund Run will be hosted at LCS on Friday, October 6.
Throughout the school day, students will be running and walking through the school’s outdoor learning campus and trails while completing age-appropriate obstacles and challenges.
This event is a fun day on campus for all of our PreK-5th grade students and an important fundraiser for the school. Each student is encouraged to raise money by collecting sponsorships.
Contributions to the Fund Run:
– Supports Christ-centered learning and our outstanding teachers
– Supports various extra-curricular programs
– Helps to reduce the cost of tuition for all students
SPONSORSHIPS
Students are challenged to each raise approximately $100 to help us reach our school-wide goal of $25,000. All sponsorships can be made through the Fund Run website by using the SPONSOR A STUDENT button.
Deadline for sponsorships is Wednesday, October 4
STUDENTS WHO COLLECT SPONSORSHIPS CAN EARN THE FOLLOWING PRIZES:
INDIVIDUALS:
- All students will receive a lanyard and race card
- Students who raise $35 or more will receive an LCS Fidget Popper keychain
- Students who reach our $100 challenge will also get an LCS flashlight
- Students who raise $200 will receive the keychain, flashlight, and also a limited-edition LCS pom beanie
CLASSES:
- Every class that raises $1500 or more will get an LCS Explorers Compass carabiner to add to their lanyard explorer race card!
WHOLE SCHOOL:
- If the whole school raises $25,000 we will have a BOUNCE HOUSE with EXTRA recess time!
