How does your teaching equip students for the future?
It teaches them the skills they need to live healthy and active lives. So that they can engage and transform the world for Jesus Christ.
What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?
I don’t know if its unique but I really want every kid in my class to leave my class feeling happier or more cared for then when they walked in.
What are your interests or hobbies outside of school?
I really like anything competitive in nature from games to sports. Really I love anything that requires effort and has a winner.
What is something you’ve accomplished that you’re proud of?
I am willing to be open and honest enough with my struggles with anxiety that others feel safe enough to share what is going on in their own lives.
What’s your “catch-phrase” or something you’re constantly saying to your students?

What is your deep hope for your students?
May we worship God by finding a physical activity that will drive us towards a healthy lifestyle.
What do you hope students will remember about you or your class?
I hope that my students know they are cared for when they walk out of my class. Also I hope they know that they are loved beyond measure by a God who made them and walks with them.
What do you love most about LCS?
The community here cares for my family and me very well. Through the good and through the hard.
