2024 Heroes of the Bible Fund Run
A Journey of Faith, Fun, and Fundraising
At Lansing Christian School, we believe in the power of faith and community to shape the next generation for Jesus Christ. Each year, we host the Fund Run, a day that brings students, families, and the broader LCS community together to celebrate our shared mission while raising important funds for the school. This year, we’re excited to present the 2024 Heroes of the Bible Fund Run on Friday, October 4.
Fund Run History
The LCS Fund Run began in 2018 with a simple goal: to provide a fun, engaging way for our students to raise funds that directly support their education and learning experiences. Over the years, this event has grown into one of the most anticipated days of the year for our PreK4 – 5th grade students.
Through the generosity of our community, we’ve raised an impressive $173,238 from 1,713 total gifts since the Fund Run began. These funds support the exceptional programs we offer at LCS and help keep tuition accessible for current and prospective families.
This year, we’re continuing the tradition with the 2024 Heroes of the Bible theme. Our students will take on Bible-themed challenges and obstacles as they learn about the heroes in God’s Word and follow a path to the ultimate Bible hero: Jesus. It’s a day of physical activity, spiritual growth, and fun.
Each station will be interactive and engaging, allowing students to not only experience these powerful stories but also reflect on the messages of faith, strength, and obedience that define these heroes of the Bible and point them to Jesus.
How You Can Get Involved
The 2024 Heroes of the Bible Fund Run is a fun day for our students and also a vital fundraiser for the future of our school. Our aim is to raise $25,000 this year to support Christ-centered, transformational education at LCS.

Every student is encouraged to participate by soliciting sponsorships. Your support will help us reach our school-wide goal and make a direct impact on our students’ education. - Volunteer
We’re looking for volunteers to help make the day run smoothly. Whether it’s setting up stations, managing the Bible-themed challenges, or cheering on students as they run, your time and energy will make this event even more special.
