Secondary School Physical Education Teacher for 2026-2027 School Year
Personal qualifications: Recognizing that Lansing Christian School is strongly committed to the Christian faith, we seek a teacher whose passion is uniting his/her faith with a love for working with middle and high school students and the ability to cultivate a positive and engaging educational environment.
Professional qualifications: We are seeking a full-time physical education teacher for middle and high school classes who is committed to student-centered instruction, collaboration with colleagues, and a growth mindset toward their practice.
Candidates must have a/an:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Michigan teaching certification
- MC Endorsement (Health and Physical Education) or working toward this endorsement.
- Experience with teaching Middle or High School

Lansing Christian School is seeking applicants for substitute teachers for all grade levels (preschool-12th grade). Applicants should have 60 hours of college credit. Education background is preferred but not necessary.

Candidates must be able to handle the responsibilities of a group of children while maintaining a safe environment during group activities.
