Meet the Teacher
Community is at the heart of LCS, and we look forward to welcoming you to campus. Our Meet the Teacher event is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to meet teachers and classmates, explore the classroom, and prepare for the year ahead by bringing school supplies and organizing desks and lockers.
August 24
First Day of School
School starts at 8:00 a.m., with drop-off beginning at 7:45 a.m. for elementary students, who head straight to their classrooms, and at 7:30 a.m. for middle and high school students, who can wait in the commons or their hallway until the 7:55 a.m. bell. School ends at 3:00 p.m., and parents can either pick up in the carpool lane or park and come inside for pickup.
Opening Chapel
A cherished LCS tradition, our Opening Chapel brings together students, parents, and faculty for a brief time of worship and prayer as we dedicate the new school year to the Lord. It is a meaningful opportunity to welcome families back and begin the year together as a Christ-centered community.
