Athletics at LCS
At Lansing Christian School, athletics are more than just competition and physical endeavor. They are an extension of our mission to develop the whole student – spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically – and equip them to exalt God and follow Christ in all aspects of life.
With 23 teams and club opportunities, broad participation is encouraged, and the majority of our students choose to be involved. At the same time, we take a balanced approach to athletics, celebrating effort and achievement while affirming the importance of family time, academics, and rest.
On our single PreK–12 campus, sports create natural connections across grade levels, fostering mentorship. Younger students look up to high school athletes who model humility, perseverance, and Christ-like integrity in both victory and challenge. Whether leading camps, cheering on youth teams, or offering a high-five in the hallway, our older athletes help shape a culture where faith is lived out on and off the field.
From elementary field days to varsity competition, athletics unite students and families around shared purpose. For families seeking a positive, faith-filled athletic experience where every child is known, encouraged, and mentored, Lansing Christian School offers something truly distinctive.
