ALUMNI PROFILE: ANNA MOODY (’16)

Our Pilgrim mascot represents the journey of learning, growth, and faith that marks a student’s time at Lansing Christian School. It is also a reminder that the Christian life is one set apart — lived with purpose and conviction in the midst of the world, yet guided by a higher calling. We consider our graduates lifelong Pilgrims, and are encouraged to see the ways in which they carry forward what they have learned — striving always to faithfully exalt God and follow Christ in their studies, their vocations, and their communities.

Anna Moody (’16) is one such alumna who continues to pursue her calling with diligence and purpose. As a senior at Michigan State University, Anna is majoring in Developmental and Molecular Neuroscience and plans to attend medical school in the coming year. She credits her teachers at LCS with preparing her well for the rigors of college coursework and research.

Anna looks forward to a career in medicine, where she hopes to serve others — especially those who are aging — with compassion and skill. Her path and aspirations reflect the enduring impact of a strong Christ-centered liberal arts education and the calling to use one’s gifts for God’s glory and the betterment of others.
