Why do you love LCS?

I like the friendly environment that I find whenever I come here. I also like the tough teaching I receive on a daily basis. I have relationships with the teachers, who really push me to advance my knowledge.

Name one of your favorite teachers. Why is he or she a favorite?

I really like Mr. Kleyn because he’s funny and makes class really interesting. He makes it a place where you want to learn by caring about his students and their success. I also like Mr. VK because he’s just a great person to talk to from day to day. He’s very laid back and chill, as well as fun and talented in a lot of ways.

How has your faith grown as a result of your experience at LCS?

This school is different than any other school that I’ve been to because they challenge you spiritually with the daily Bible class and the homeroom devotions to start off the day. I do really believe that my faith grows every day that I come here.

Describe what it is like to live and learn in Christian community at LCS.

At LCS they challenge you daily to live out what you say you believe, so I try to commit to doing just that.

How is LCS preparing you for graduation, college and life?

LCS keeps learning tough and keeps my faith strong. It’s mentally preparing me for what the world is going to throw at me.

What is your current plan beyond graduation?

My goal is to go to college and get a basketball scholarship.
