It is a virtue expressed through faithful action.

High School Service Week

Every spring, that conviction comes to life during our annual High School Service Week. For three full days, our students trade classrooms for the community, serving throughout Greater Lansing. They sit with veterans and hear their stories. They prepare meals in rescue shelters. They help build homes with Habitat for Humanity. They spend unhurried afternoons with the elderly. Through these experiences, our students encounter real needs, develop practical skills, and learn what Christ-like leadership looks like in action.

Middle & Elementary School Service Day

On campus, our Elementary and Middle School students learn the same lesson in age-appropriate ways, serving their teachers, caring for their school, and discovering that true leadership begins with a servant’s heart.

Service Week forms more than habits of service; it forms hearts. As our students seek the good of others, they learn to look beyond themselves and make the love of Christ visible in the world around them.

Elementary Service Teams

In fifth grade, our crosswalk “Safety Patrol” members serve the school community by helping students and families safely navigate their way to and from parking lots before and after school. They serve in all kinds of weather with cheerful dedication. 

Fourth-grade “Kindergarten Helpers” support some of our youngest students by walking them safely to their cars each afternoon, serving with patience and kindness.
