NURTURING FAITH

Understanding our place in God’s story calls for a living faith shaped by His Word and expressed in daily life. At Lansing Christian School, it is our high calling to lead students to know God, love Him, and serve Him faithfully.

The growth of such a faith is nurtured through thoughtful spiritual formation. Students participate in Bible classes at every grade level and gather weekly for chapel, where they hear God’s Word, pray, and join together in worship. These shared practices help root students in the truth of Scripture and direct their hearts toward the praise and service of God.

Within the life of the school, students are also encouraged to take an active role in spiritual activities. Opportunities to lead in chapel and serve others help cultivate both spiritual maturity and a heart for God’s people. Through meaningful service, students learn to apply their faith in tangible ways.

Guided by godly teachers and staff, students are called to grow in reverence, gratitude, and obedience, seeking to glorify God in all things and walk faithfully with Him.

“My faith has grown a lot because of going to LCS. Going to school in such a Christ-centered environment is an incredible blessing. I am encouraged to grow in my faith by others around me, and I love being able to worship freely.” – Eliza Lewis, student
