We are pleased to announce that a new partnership between Lansing Christian School and Wellspring Lutheran Services has been developed for the purposes of expanding the school’s support for the psychological, social-emotional, and behavioral health needs of the school community.

Wellspring Lutheran Services is a non-profit, mission-based organization that supports child and family, and senior services with locations throughout Michigan.

The partnership between LCS and Wellspring Lutheran Services prioritizes mental health education, student/issue specific response and consultation, community referrals, and resource development. Steve Zwart, VP for Program Development at Wellspring Lutheran Services, is serving as the Wellspring designated social worker for Lansing Christian School.

Current work is focused on establishing processes and procedures for supporting student needs and equipping leadership and the teaching staff for supporting students in the context of the current state of the pandemic.
