Why Outdoor Experiences matter

Lansing Christian students are enjoying God’s creation on our beautiful outdoor campus! Outdoor experiences enhance classroom learning. Spending time outdoors allows students to develop their creativity, problem-solving, independence, confidence, and more. While incorporating outside time has been a necessity this year, as a school, we are understanding new possibilities and benefits for getting all students outside as part of everyday learning at school.

During these winter months, students are going outside to walk the trails, play in the snow, get some extra movement while taking in fresh air – and just plain have fun!

LCS is currently thinking and planning for the possibilities that exist for utilizing our beautiful and expansive outdoor campus in new ways as we look to the new 2021-2022 school year.
