In Christ,
Dr. Jeremy Zajicek
Head of School
Dr. Jeremy Zajicek
Ed.D. Educational Leadership, Liberty University
M.S. Management, Cardinal Stritch University
B.S. Business Management, Maranatha Baptist University

Dr. Zajicek’s journey into head of school leadership is compelling. Twelve years ago, while thriving in a distinguished business career, he felt called to something more. Over the next two years, that desire continued to grow, and it became clear God was preparing Jeremy’s heart for a question posed by a spiritual mentor: “Would you leave your corporate career to become a head of school?”
Jeremy’s early dream was to live out his faith as a business leader. He earned a B.S. in business management and a M.S. in management as he began his career. From the start, colleagues recognized that his character and faith-filled values allowed him to excel in leadership roles. His responsibilities expanded as he gained experience in customer service, finance, and human resources. Throughout his career, Jeremy prioritized spiritual growth and investment in his church community, which ultimately opened the door to head of school leadership in 2015.
Drawing on his business experience, faith-filled character, and love for the church, Jeremy led a small Christian school through a transformative season that resulted in national accreditation and sustained growth that remains today. Next, God called him to a missional opportunity in Guam, where he led an open-enrollment college-preparatory school of 1,000 students through the global pandemic with strategic leadership, support of staff, and continued missional advancement. During this time, he earned a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership.
For the past decade, Jeremy has embraced the challenges and opportunities of head of school leadership in Christian education. He gives testimony to God’s goodness in equipping him for this calling, and remains passionate about learning and leadership development. Jeremy serves as an adjunct professor in business and organizational leadership and as a doctoral dissertation committee member, mentoring students pursuing terminal degrees in education, business, and organizational leadership.
Jeremy and his wife, Jeanna, met in college, and have been married for 22 years. Together, they have remodeled homes, road-tripped around the country, and enjoyed the blessings of life with their six children. Brone is a Junior at Hampden-Sydney College. Charlotte is a freshman at Sweet Briar College. Natalie is a junior, Eli is in 9th grade, Judah is in 7th grade, and Thea is in 3rd grade at LCS.
Dr. Zajicek’s last name is pronounced “Zī-check.”
