BEING A PILGRIM – ANNA MOODY (’16)

The Pilgrim represents the journey of learning, growth, and faith formation of a student during their time at Lansing Christian School. We consider our alumni lifelong Pilgrims and are inspired to see how they live out their role in God’s story during college, in their careers, and in their communities.

Anna Moody (’16) is a young alumna finding success and living out her purpose after graduation. As a senior at Michigan State University, Anna is majoring in Developmental and Molecular Neuroscience and hopes to enroll in medical school next fall. Anna credits her teachers at LCS with preparing her for the type of coursework and research she is doing in college. Anna is looking forward to beginning her career in medicine so that she can be of service to others, particularly those who are aging.

For me, there isn’t this question of why I’m here and what my purpose is. I have always had this calling and passion to help elders and work in fields like neurology where I can ease their pain and just show them love and support.
