I Belong to Christ
At Lansing Christian School, students are not called simply to “fit in,” but to know that they belong — first and foremost to Jesus Christ. It is through their identity in Christ that each student finds true worth and purpose. We are committed to cultivating a school community where every student is known, valued, and grounded in this unchanging truth as we educate them to the fullest extent of their God-given abilities.
Helping students understand that they belong to Christ is foundational to all that we do. Part of spiritual formation at LCS means helping each young person to recognize that their life has meaning, and that God, in His providence, has given them a distinct place and calling within His greater story.
Our mission at Lansing Christian School is to equip young men and women to exalt God and follow Christ in all aspects of life. This is a high calling. Through the faithful work of dedicated teachers and staff, and in partnership with parents, we seek to provide a disciplined and caring learning environment across our PreK–12 campus. Here, students are guided to grow in wisdom, character, and faith as they develop the gifts and abilities God has entrusted to them.
