Contributions to the Annual Fund help make a Christ-centered liberal arts education at Lansing Christian School possible for all families. Like most private schools, tuition at LCS covers only a portion of the full cost of educating a student. The school relies annually on the generosity of our donors, through gifts to the Annual Fund and income generated from the LCS Endowment Fund, to continue God’s work at the school. Your gift, large or small, represents tangible support for our mission and an enduring contribution to Christian education.

Since 1951 Lansing Christian School has partnered with Christian parents to deliver on our mission to equip children to take their places worthily in society, church, and state. Seventy-five years in, we now see alumni entrusting their children, and even grandchildren, to LCS because they know it to be an institution that educates students to the full extent of their God-given abilities. A gift to the LCS Endowment helps ensure the school can continue its tradition of quality Christ-centered liberal arts education and remain accessible for generations of students to come.

Gifts made to the LCS Endowment are held in a restricted fund, overseen by the Foundation Board, allowing future growth to be used as dependable income for the school. Your contribution provides the school with long-term financial sustainability, ensuring a lasting legacy of quality Christian education in the greater Lansing area.

ENDOWMENT DONATION

Making a planned gift to Lansing Christian School during your lifetime, or naming LCS in your will or trust, exemplifies a passion and commitment to the mission of our school. Gifts received from an individual’s estate, unless otherwise designated, will be placed in the LCS Endowment. Receiving a planned gift is a huge blessing to LCS and will provide long-term financial sustainability for the school.

In addition to naming LCS in your will or trust, you can designate Lansing Christian School as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy, or you can create a charitable gift annuity which provides immediate support to the school during your lifetime.

Providing a gift to Lansing Christian School in memory of a friend or relative is a beautifully meaningful way to honor their life while supporting exceptional Christian education. When an honoree or family has requested gifts to Lansing Christian School in lieu of flowers, donations are directed to the Annual Fund, unless otherwise specified. In recognition of the individual being honored, and in coordination with their family, a memorial brick will be placed outside the school’s main entrance to commemorate their legacy at Lansing Christian School.
