LCS Stories
Noah – 12th Grade
How long have you attended LCS?
I’m in 12th grade, and I’ve attended LCS since preschool (a Lifer).
What do you like about LCS?
LCS has been designed to be a large family. Oftentimes I feel like I am going to school to see my family – my brothers and sisters. The community is very tight-knit and everybody is willing to help everybody and anybody. LCS has created a Christ-centered community in which newcomers feel comfortable being a part of.
What is your favorite subject in school?
US History or Calculus.
Are you involved in extracurriculars?
I’m involved in baseball, soccer, and the Multicultural Club.
How has an LCS teacher shown they care for you?
I can always ask Mrs. Thiele (AP Calc teacher) for help after school or during class and she is always willing to help, oftentimes beyond what I initially ask.
What is an area you’ve grown in at LCS?
I’ve grown in learning that community is essential to your growth as a human being. It is important to focus on your school work and everything that entails, but that is only a fraction of who you are as a person. Surround yourself with a community and friends who will help you in your faith journey, and who will also help you have fun and live life to the fullest.
I’ve also grown in my understanding that God will reveal things to you that will help point you in the right direction of life as long as you abide in Him and are always in constant communication with Him; Don’t disconnect from God.
