Teacher Appreciation Week
It has now been eight weeks since it was first announced that schools would be closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While we did not know at that time how long the closure would last, within two days our teachers transitioned to remote learning plans to engage our students and continue to provide a Christ-centered education during the shelter-in-place order. This new way of teaching and learning has posed many challenges, but our teachers have modeled resilience, faithfulness, and commitment as they provide opportunities for our students to continue to learn online.
During teacher appreciation week we wanted to share a few words from our students about what makes our teachers great. This video was taken before the school closure, but the sentiments are as true now as they were eight weeks ago.
