Volunteer Opportunities

At LCS, we are grateful for the faithful support and involvement of our parent volunteers. Their service enriches the educational experience of our students and helps foster the strong sense of community that is central to our school. To ensure the safety of our students, all parents must complete a background check before volunteering in classrooms, chaperoning field trips, or assisting with overnight trips.

Volunteer Opportunities

Elementary School

  • Lunchroom & Recess Volunteers
  • Tuesday Teacher Treats – Click here to sign up and help bless our elementary teachers with a treat on Tuesday mornings.
  • Field Trip Chaperone: Help supervise and ensure the safety of students on educational field trips.
  • Classroom Parties: Help organize and run special classroom parties throughout the year.
  • Please contact your child’s teacher or the office with your availability.

Middle and High School Spirit Week

  • Food Donations and Supervision: Help provide food and supervision during Spirit Week activities. The MS/HS Newsletter will solicit sign ups in the weeks prior to this event.

Community Events

  • 2026 LCS Annual Golf Outing: Friday, September 18, 2026 – Volunteer at Brookshire Inn & Golf Club
  • Fund Run: Assist with our annual school-wide fundraiser, from helping organize the event to day-of support.
  • Black & Gold Celebration: April 10, 2027 – Help setup & coordinate for our flagship community event.
  • Maker’s Market: Support this event by assisting with vendor coordination or event operations.

Athletics

  • We are always in need of volunteers to help run athletic events smoothly. This is a great way for students to get their required service hours. 
  • FALL 2026: Soccer Volunteer | Volleyball Volunteer
  • Game Day Assistance: Help with admissions, concessions, and other game day needs to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Team Meals: Volunteer to feed the teams by organizing or providing meals for athletes before or after games.
